November 3, 2019(Nyamilepedia) — After long pleading with him to release the funds for the expedition and acceleration of the Peace process he seem too reluctant to implement the agreement simply because he doesn’t want to works with Dr. Riek Machar, the Chairman and Commander-In-Chief of the SPLM-IO. In so doing, as the yet-to-be-formed TGoNU is approaching, he finally agrees to release the remaining $96M which he wickedly confined. Therefore his move of releasing the Peace-funds lately is to  entices the opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar to accept to be part of the controversial and upcoming Transitional government of National Unity without questioning the implementation of the security configuration and number of states and their boundaries.

Secondly, Salva Kiir is known for his clandestine and ethnic tactics against his political antagonist, it’s not new for him to despicably act that way, hence, what’s the meaning of releasing the peace-funds so lately when only 11 days remains for the formation of the controversial TGoNU? What’s the meaning of releasing the peace-funds when the core factors which could led to the formation of the TGoNU aren’t implemented? In my views this recent move is meant to politically lure Dr. Riek Machar into accepting the bad peace with conspiracy behind it. The leadership of the SPLM/A (In Opposition) should adhere to the calls for the EXTENSION of the peace for another more months and the leadership of the SPLM/A (In Opposition) should ought to be vigilant in any agreement that lack political will.

On October 20, 2019, the UNSC, IGAD and AU invited Dr. Riek Machar in Juba for the 3rd time per the process of the Revitalize-Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCISS). While in the meeting hall Dr. Riek and Dr. Lam Akol stated precisely that the agreement need to be extended for another few months simply because the required factors to the formation of the TGoNU have not been put in place by the Government. In the  same morning of October 20, 2019 before Dr. Riek met with UNSC, IGAD and AU, he and President Salva Kiir hold briefing with the joint Security committee on the status of the implementation of the security arrangement, hence, the response that they got from the Joint Security Committee (JSC) was that there is no force available and that they would not be able to assemble an integrated forces even within the next three months under the current circumstances.

Moreover,  the Joint Security Committee failed to fulfilled their task because there’s insufficient of funds which they could have used to speed up with the process, in May this year the government promise to released $100M for the implementationof the Security Arrangements which called  for the training and unification of forces, albeit the NPTC were demanding that the government should released more than that since the government do received per month 165 Million dollars from oil. Therefore their grudgingly tactics has been denoting the lack of commitment and dedication towards the betterment of the country that had been hunted down by the ongoing and perennial crisis.

This isn’t done, the unreleased funds would’ve been use to facilitate the Amendment and Pre-constitutional review since it’s stipulated and enshrined in the September 2018 peace-pact, but because of lack of political will and dedication from the government that is the reason as why nothing has been done so far,  therefore, the surreptitious reason behind the funds that will be release next week would mean another conspiracy against the will-be-forms TGoNU,

In conclusion, I would urge the leadership of the SPLM/A (In Opposition ) under the visionary and candid leader, Dr. Riek Machar Teny Zhurgon to stand tall and firmer to avoid any peace that involves unfulfilled promises, for we don’t want the scenario of the year 2016 to repeat itself, the move why Salva Kiir agrees to funds the agreement that he once rejected to funds mean a lot since their long-term plans are to eliminate and purge Dr. Riek Machar in the face of South Sudanese, again since we know that the international community do not mean well to the people of South Sudan, for instance, the recent statement from the United Nations Security Council which states that our Chairman Dr. Riek should proceed with the bad peace with Salva Kiir albeit the Securiy Arrangement and issues of boundaries are left untouched, with disappointment, this clearly indicated that they don’t care whether South Sudan went back to war after the ceasefire our forces have enjoyed for more than a year now.

In fact, we’re the one to take care of ourselves and our Chairman, Dr. Riek Machar as well, for the 2016 conspiracy will happen if we accept to be part of the upcoming coalition government without proper agreement, therefore, better be left our rather than accepting the bloody deals which was fully engineered to end the life of the SPLM-IO and its leader. Let’s all stand strong behind our leader since no conditions is permanent, in less words, I’m here to assure you that the leadership of the SPLM/A In Opposition is still strong than ever before and the call for the regime change shall remains the hub and hardcore of the movement in spite of the obstacles, hindrances and impediment toward achieving our last objective in a figh for the reform. Lastly I’m assuring you that your movement won’t betray the people of South Sudan. And I’m also urging the people of South Sudan to unite themselves the Dr. Riek Machar is fighting for their inalienable freedom in order for them to have the country that they long yearn for.

May God bless South Sudan and its beautiful people and resources.
