South Sudan police officers joins African colleagues at annual meeting in Johannesburg.

June 18th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Representatives of South Sudan National Police Service (SSNPS) have joined several other African colleagues in the fifth annual meeting of ID4Africa held underway in the South African commercial city of Johannesburg.

The ongoing continental gathering brought together about 50 representatives from different countries in Africa according to organizers.

ID4Africa is a continental legal entity that supports African countries in their journey towards achieving strong and responsible ID ecosystems responsible for digital identity in the service of development, humanitarian action, security and facilitation.

The South Sudan police delegation was led by Inspector General Gen. Majak Akec Malok and left for South Africa on Sunday.

At the meeting, the participants are expected to address some issues related to the protection of children during conflict, in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 16th.
