Car incident between Bor and Juba leaves one dead, twelve wounded

March 4th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – A 11-year old boy has been killed and twelve other were critically injuried after a car travelling from Bor to Juba fall into a deadly incident on Sunday, relatives of the deceased told the Nyamilepedia yesterday.

“The car started a long way drive from the town of Ayod all the way to Bor and slept in Bor yesterday (Saturday). Earlier morning (Sunday), they started their journey to Juba and as they were driving toward Mangala county, the land cruiser had an accident in which women and children were on board,” Wuor Ruot, a relative of one of the victims told the Nyamilepedia from Juba on Sunday.

Ruot said among the people travelling in the car was a man, 25, two women and an elderly woman plus three boys, a 13-year old, 7-year old and a 11-year old.

“One boy aged 7 years has a serious injury in the head, and the other one is 13 years boy who had a minor injury also in the head. The man who is approximately 25 had fractures on the five fingers. A lactating mother who’s named Teraze Nyanhial sustained an injury on her shoulder while another lady named Nyapal Padak got a chest problem as result,” he said.

He further added that “the last is the boy aged 11 years who has lost his life in the tragic incident.”
