Machar’s envoy to Cairo replaces defected national coordinator in Egypt

February 20th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO) Country Representative in Cairo has replaced the National Coordinator in Egypt who defected to South Sudan’s First Vice President Taban Deng Gai early this month.

In an order seen by the Nyamilepedia, ambassador Gatkouth Biel Nyang appointed former Chairperson of SPLM-IO Chapter in Cairo, Emmanuel Pesto as the new National Coordinator for the opposition group in the Northern African country.

“Pursuance to the confident bestowed upon me by the Chairman and C-in-C of the SPLM/A-IO H.E Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, I Gatkouth Biel Nyang, SPLM-IO Country Representative to Egypt, do hereby order valtrex appoint[s] Cde. Emmanuel Pesto Elia as SPLM-IO’s National Coordinator in the Arab Republic of Egypt,” the order seen by the Nyamilepedia and dated February 18th 2019 read.

Last month, the SPLM-IO Representative to the state of Qatar, Yohanis Musa Puok, who was visiting Egypt announced his defection to the pro-government opposition faction led by the country’s First Vice President Taban Deng Gai.

Puok, who later left for Juba few days later, took with him the SPLM-IO National Coordinator in Egypt, Tejwok Aban, as well as some junior officials who expressed their discontent about the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar whom they accused of allowing his wife, Angelina Teny, to unconstitutionally control affairs of the movement.
