Opposition governor of Unity state reshuffle government

February 15th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s opposition governor of Liech state has issued several degrees on Thursday dismissing and appointing government officials from and to different capacities on Thursday.

According to a degree cited as “Degree No.17.18.10,” governor Tunguar relieved James Gar Gatbang as the opposition Mayom County Commissioner, Maj-Gen Malith Nhial Wial as state advisor or person with disability.

The same degree also dismissed Col.Gabriel Kuong Kuony from his position as state advisor for traditional authority empowerment.

Another degree appointed Maj-Gen Malith Nhial Wial as the Commissioner of Mayom County while Maj-Gen Majok Lang Bilkuei Commissioner of Pariang County.

The same degree appointed Yoahnis Kujiek Ruot as commissioner of Payinjiar county.

Tunguar in a separate degree appointed Maj-Gen.Peter Chierey Changath as the state Secretary for Local Government and Law Enforcement, Daniel Gai Bath as Secretary for Federal Affairs, Captain William Gai Riak as Secretary for Physical Infrastructure and Col.Yoach Bading Jageah as Secretary for General Education and Instruction.

The governor also appointed technical advisors for the state as well as new county executive directors.
