Former Mayendiit community leader joins Gen. Ruai Kuol’s NPAM

October 3rd 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – Former Mayendiit community Chairman in Sudan, Puol Buom Gaah along with a number of youth from different areas in Unity State on Sunday declared their intention to join the National People’s Alliance Movement (NPAM) led by former SPLM-IO governor of Unit State Gen. Robert Ruai Kuol Jal according to a statement issued by the group’s spokesman.

In the statement extended to the Nyamilepedia, Dak Lieng Nger, the spokesman of the NPAM said they have welcomed the decision by the former leader of the Mayendit community in Sudan saying the new members were welcomed by the group’s Secretary for Security Affairs.

“Upon their decision to join the movement, the youths were welcomed by  Hon. John Teat Kech Guandong who is the Acting Deputy Chairman and the Secretary for Security Affairs,” Dak said in the statement extended to the Nyamilepedia.

He said the youth were led by the former Chairman of the Mayendiit community in Sudan and a Brigadier General Bachiew Liah Yaw adding that the number of the youth that joined their ranks are over 40.

“They have joined the National People’s Alliance Movement (NPAM) together with the former Mayendiit Community Chairman Mr. Puol Buom Gaah and Brigadier General Bachiew Liah Yaw with forty five people,” he said. adding that “They also appreciated the leadership of National People’s Alliance Movement (NPAM) an Lt. Gen. Robert Ruai Kuol Jal, the Chairman in particular and the entire membership of the National People’s Alliance Movement (NPAM).
