Kiir dismiss Rachel Nyadak Paul as human rights advisor

October 2nd 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudanese President, Salva Kiir Mayardiit on Monday dismissed the country’s Presidential Adviser on Gender and Human Rights.

Kiir’s degree which give no reason was announced by the state owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporations (SSBC) on Monday evening.

Rachael Nyadak Paul has been holding the position since 2016 after following her dismissal as the deputy minister of information.

South Sudan descended into civil war in December 2013 after a violence engulfed a national convention for the features ruling SPLM party.

A peace agreement was signed last month in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa by President Salva Kiir and opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar to end the ongoing civil war.
