Rumbek Civic Engagement Centre launches strategic plan 2017-2022

October 1st 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The management of the Rumbek Civic Engagement User Committee (RCEUC) has on Thursday, under the theme “Building better partnership with community and stakeholders” launched the strategic plan for 2017-2022.

Malok Majak Malok, the centre manager appreciates state government, UNMISS, INGOs and all CSOs members for attending mini- Launching of R-CEC UC strategic plan 2017-2022. Mr. Malok encouraged the User Committee members and the entire leadership of civil society organizations network CiSON to keep the centre moving forward by engaging youth on developmental activities.

Hakim .C. Awur, user committee chairperson said R-CEC is a unique national non-governmental organization legally registered under Relief and Rehabilitation Commission.

The organization will support communities at all levels through it plans and policies because its new home for all the CSOs and the communities using the centre, he said. Mr. Awur reveal that centre has developed solid partnership with Local authorities, International NGOs, UNMISS and UN agencies for better collaboration.

The State minister of information Hon. Martin Ngula, who is the guest of honor applause all members of civil society organizations working in the state for working hard to change in the society.

Minister congratulations the leadership of R-CEC for working hard developed strategic plan 2017 -2022 that works has a tool of moving forward to the next level.

He promised that state government will support CSOs and international organizations in their activities by maintaining security in the state.

The launch attended by state minister of information and other stakeholders had drawn over 50 CSOs, Community members, international organizations and United Nation Mission in South Sudan.
