Vice-President Wani Igga blames rebellion for country’s failure
September 6th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s Vice-President James Wani Iggi has blamed the ongoing rebellion in the country for the failure and fragility of the state.
South Sudan is currently the most fragile state in the world after taking on Somalia which was ranked the world’s number one fragile state according to world ranking of most failed states in the world.
Vice President Wani Igga was speaking during a lecture to the country’s parliamentarians early this week.
He said people rebels when they are reshuffle off and this has led to the country being ranked as the world’s failed country number one.
“When you are reshuffled off, you run to the bush and that is why we are number one most fragile state,” Vice-President James Wani Igga said.
He wondered whether the country, then Southern Sudan autonomous region fought for many years to gain independent from the Sudan which is a majority nation.
“Is this why we struggled for all these years? 38 years for independence? Is this how the independence is supposed to be handled?” he asked.
