August 26th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The embattled Chairman of South Sudan’s opposition group, the Sational Salvation Front (NAS) Thomas Cirilo has appointed a spokesperson and a deputy spokesperson for his group almost two years after the group was formed.
In a statement issued on August 25th 2018, Gen. Cirilo said he appoints Suba Samuel Manase and Wazir Michael Liah as the spokesperson and his deputy respectively with effects from August 25th.
“Pursuant to the resolution of the NAS leadership of April 2017 to establish NAS Political and Civil Structures, I Gen. Thomas Cxirilo Swaka do hereby appoint these NAS officials to the following positions: Mr. Suba Samuel Manase as the NAS Spokesperson, Mr Wazir Michael Liah is appointed as the NAS Deputy Spokesman,” Cirilo wrote in a statement seen by the Nyamilepedia.
The NAS leader congratulated the new NAS officials on the new appointment saying he wishes them success in their newe endevours.
“I cordially congratulates Mr suba Samuel and Mr Wazir Michael Liah for these important appointments in recognition of their diligent and commitment to work for the Salvation of the people of South Sudan, and I wish them success in adancing the realization of the objectives of the national Salvation front,” he further said in the letter obtained by the Nyamilepedia.
