August 7th, 2018(Nyamilepedia) — Speaking in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, president Omar Hassan Al Bashir decries how the Republic of South Sudan is destroyed and calls on the leaders to deliver basic services to the citizens as oppose to purchasing fancy cars for the politicians.

President Bashir strongly reiterates that South Sudanese citizens need everything ranging from security, education, health, clean water, electricity, phones, roads, airports and many other services and not just cars.

“South Sudanese citizens need to enjoy services, after security, they need education, they need health, they need clean water, they need electricity, they need telephones, they need roads, they need Airports, Not just cars brother Salva.”  President Bashir said in a live broadcast in Khartoum, Sudan.

“Right now South Sudan is destroyed, the essential infrastructure is destroyed.” He continued.

President Bashir was referencing a budget of $18 millions US dollar that president Salva Kiir issued to his 332 members of parliament shortly before he travels to Khartoum where he complained of lacking budget to run a huge government.

According to the speaker of South Sudan parliament, each MP was given $40, 000 USD to buy themselves new cars.

South Sudan’s budget for cars has been heavily criticized by South Sudanese analysts and foreign observers as bribes to politicians for President Kiir to consolidate his hold on power.

This year South Sudan failed to commemorate her independence, martyrs’ day and other national events due to lack of budget as the economy continue to collapse.

In other reports, President Bashir has been tasked to continue mediating the South Sudanese warring parties to finalize the Revitalization of the Agreement of Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan(ARCSS).

“Cognisant of the momentum created so far, the IGAD leaders resolved that after the signing of the Agreement on Outstanding Issues on Governance and Security Arrangements today, President Omar Hassan Al Bashir shall continue facilitating the talks with the same spirit of inclusivity and commendable vigor until the Revitalized ARCSS  is finally signed.” Read part of a communique released by the IGAD heads of states and government on August 5th, 2018.
