Jul 17th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – The issuance of national documents, passports, nationality, among others, has resumed in the capital Juba several weeks after a ‘technical issue’ occurred against the production of national IDs and Passports.

In a statement seen by the Nyamilepedia on Monday, the police spokesman Brig. Gen. Daniel Justin said the production of national documents have been resumed.

“On behalf of the Directorate Nationality, Passport and Immigration, I would like to inform the public that the production of nationalities and passport certificates have resumed,” he said in the statement.

He said the system had some technical problem that must be resolved before the production would continue and that such problems have been addressed.

“Those who applied and are waiting, they are asked to report to the directorate on Monday-16 July-2018 to collect their nationalities and passports,” Daniel said  adding that “we also welcome new applicants to come and start processing their nationality and passport certificates.”
