BREAKING: SPLA officer loyal to First Vice-President Taban Deng joins Machar

June 12th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – A SPLA officer loyal to South Sudan’s First Vice-President Taban Deng Gai have declared his intention to join the country’s former First Vice-President Riek Machar Teny accusing the First Vice President and the minister of Petroleum Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth of using the oil revenue to finance the ongoing civil war in the young African nation.

In a statement seen by the Nyamilepedia on Tuesday, the Deputy Head of Protection for South Sudan’s Ministry of Petroleum, Maj. Gatluak Chieng Yiol, said he decided to join Machar, whom he left in 2016, because the first First Vice-President Taban Deng Gai and his Petroleum Minister are deceiving the people of South Sudan to bring peace to the country.

“I am hereby announce my defection to the SPLM-IO from the government under the leadership of General Taban and Ezekiel Lol [and] my reason is [that] buy isotretinoin online General Taban and Ezekiel Lol they are misleading us saying they will bring lasting peace to the people of South Sudan which end to destruction to our community and join the government who killed our people,” he wrote in a letter today.

The little-known officer accused the First Vice President of Financing the war using the revenue the the government itself collects from the oil industry in order to capture former rebel stronghold Pagak.

“The Minister of Petroleum Ezekiel Lol used to finance the war in order for the government soldiers to reach Pagak by forceful mean without peaceful dialogue,” he said.

The officer said he was detained by the national security service for two months without any reason and charges after he was accused of releasing government information to the rebels to inform the later about the army match towards Pagak.
