April 6th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – “Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.” “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Sayings by, Martin Luther King, Jr.

As the year 2017 drew to an end, IGAD backed by African Union, UK, Norway and USA managed to pressure the warring parties to sign the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement.  The People’s Movement, The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army in Opposition (SPLM/A-IO) was the champion of the said agreement by substantial margin of compromises compared to the main opponent (Juba Tribal Regime).

Surprisingly, with shameless contrast, Juba think it attended Revitalization Forum with good intentions of bringing peace to our resilient people when in fact all they are doing before and after the signing of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement contradicts their false call. Peace would rarely hold should Juba’s tribal based regime continues to violate any agreement that it is a signatory to.

South Sudanese, the regional community and the world at large are cautiously monitoring the corrupt regime’s empty promises to citizens’ call through SPLM/A-IO’s national reform agendas.

In every part of the nation, the Juba based tribal regime ranks higher as a perceived menace to South Sudan peace and people, notably in Northern Bahr-ghazal, where overwhelming majorities regard Juba regime and its close ally Taban Deng Gai as the major threat they face, not People’s Movement.

Even in the home towns of Kiir and Taban, citizens have finally understood the destructive leaderships and hatred speeches the two tribal leaders are preaching. The deeper their understanding of how Kiir and Taban tribal leadership have become destructive to the nation the higher the chances of closing the gaps to free and reforms South Sudan becomes close to it conclusion for a better prosperity.

Recent mass exodus in Awiel and Gogrial to Sudan and never seen before defection of Kiir private forces to SPLM/A-IO camp and others opposition forces are undeniable evidences.

Inferences prove that Juba Tribal regime remained virtually alone in their destruction of South Sudan. The citizens should rest assured that these shameful episodes may be wiped out soon by SPLM/A-IO. The damages are enormous; however, the People’s Movement remains confident in return of peace and tranquillity to our nation through national agenda reform.

Dr. Riek Machar Teny and his trusted team are the only capable giant to return our country to normalcy and restore unity and the rule of law.
