Lou Nuer Communities in Diaspora Condemns Attacks In Akobo East By Kiir Government

Jan 24th, 2018(Nyamilepedia) — We, the Lou Nuer Community Leaderships in diaspora from Canada, United States, and Australia condemn in the strongest terms possible the yesterday’s attack of Bieh State Area of Luony Galieak at Kuer Nyuon Tet in the Akoba East of Waat, Bieh State. Salva Kiir and his First Vice President, Taban Deng, ordered their Minister of Health, Dr. Riek Gai Kok, General Gony Biliew and a Former General of the SPLM-IO, Gen. Malou Kulang, to launch an attack at Luony Galieak, near Walgak County.

Salva Kiir and Taban Deng Gai military campaigns against Bieh State and Lou Nuer areas has been ongoing since December 2017. Their operational commander Malual Majiok and his well-equipped forces intensified their military offensives against Western Bieh State starting from Uror County areas: Yuai, Pabuong, Payai, and Pieri from two directions (Yuai & Waat).

Salva Kiir and Taban Deng next military campaigns against civilians within Bieh State territories are mobilizing to attack Langken of Nyirol County at any time.

While the revitalization peace agreement was just started in Addis Ababa and Cessation of Hostilities agreement was signed, the notorious Juba regime led by Salva Kiir and Taban Deng is busy campaigning and mobilizing their troops and attacking Bieh state’s territories.

We want to inform the whole world and especially IGAD, AU, UN, CTSAMM, and Troika countries (Norway, the UK, &the US) that the Juba regime of Salva Kiir and his puppet Taban Deng are on the offensive in a violation of the recently signed COH of the ongoing revitalization peace agreement. The world needs to note that Salva Kiir and Taban are the same leaders who destroyed August 2015 peace agreement and they are now sabotaging revitalization process which serves as the last chance to restore peace in South Sudan and the region. They have been continuing to violate all the peace agreements signed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, yet the world continue to remain silence.

Now Taban Deng Gai went, armed, and mobilized Murle Youth to attack Lou Nuer of Bieh State through Uror, Akoba, and Nyirol in all directions within Bieh State. Murle Youth Have already attacked Uror County in the second week of January 2018. Notably, the First Vice President, General Taban Deng Gai has recently instructed Mulrle Community Youths to go to Bieh State in all counties to go mobilize and abduct children and women. The Murle Youths have started their operations in many parts of Lou Nuer Areas of Bieh State.

It has never happened in the entire world that “A ministry of Health” in the country could campaign for more death, killing and displacing his/her own citizens when the ministry of health is supposed to supply medical aids or humanitarian aid to those who seek medical care/attention in their respective areas.

Lastly, Lou Community citizens of Bieh State will not sit by if they are forced to defense their innocent children, women, and elderly, period!
