Nov 13, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— Worried that some of his former colleagues are reorganizing through a brute force recruitment of fighters with intent to launch military campaign on Yei River County, the governor of Yei River County, Col. David Lokonga Moses, report to Salva Kiir those who he suspects to be leading the recruitment.

According to an official letter intercepted by Nyamilepedia correspondents, Colonel Moses is reporting five officials who served in Salva Kiir government as well as in state governments to president’s office for further action.

The governor believes that these officials are recruiting youth in the refugee camps in Uganda, however, the letter does not address where the fighters are being armed and trained.

The accused officials include Hon. David Juma Augustine, the former Minister of Finance of Central Equatoria who also served as the Commissioner of Yei River County; Hon. Alikaya Aligo, the former undersecretary of National Ministry of Land and Physical Planning; Hon. Clement Janda, Honourable Member of Council of States of the Republic of South Sudan; Hon. David Alemi Poru, Honourable Member of Parliament of Transitional Government of National Unity, and Hon. Moses Idoru Nyama, the former Chairman of Employee Justice Chamber of Central Equatoria State Government.

Col Moses reports to Salva Kiir that these officials are conducting series of meeting with South Sudanese communities in West Nile, Uganda, with intent to recruit them to fight in Yei River County rebellion.

“Reference to my letter number RSS/YRS/SGS/GO/41.A.1 dated 29th September, 2016, find here below the names of the persons suspected  to be conducting series of meeting in West Nile Uganda intended to recruit young men to join rebellion in Yei River County” Reads part of Col. Moses’ letter.

In response to this letter by the Governor of Yei River County and other complaints from the region, Juba has dispatched a high level Equatorian delegation to Uganda this week to negotiate with Ugandan government on how to closely monitor or derail political activities of the opposition on Ugandan territory.

Due to high insecurity in Yei River County, President Salva Kiir has promised to relocate his army headquarters to Yei town to fight the rebellions but the government is yet to commence such relocation.
