Nov 4, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— A group of Kenyan politicians, who are campaigning to ban South Sudan’s former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, from visiting or staying in Kenya have received a token of 10 millions US Dollar for their efforts to support Salva Kiir’s government.

Speaking to Taban Deng Gai, who replaced Machar as the First Vice President in July, the eleven Kenyan MPs have promised to enforce targeted sanctions, travel ban, asset freezes and deportation of South Sudan’s opposition in Kenya.

Boasting over deportation of Machar’s press secretary amid intense pressure from right groups and the UN, Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba told Taban “we have delivered”.

Another Kenyan politician, Hon Asman Kimani, the chairperson of National Security committee acknowledged their role in recent forced deportation of James Gatdet Dak and assures that the eleven politicians will work hard to discourage any attempts by the opposition to use Kenya as a launching pad for war.

“We will discourage anybody trying to use our country as a launching pad for war. We are very categorical, we do not target a specify person but any leader from this region” Kimani said

Gatdet was arrested on the same day the politician left Kenya for Juba and was deported within 24 hours before the politicians, who spent two days in Juba, returned to Kenya.

The Kenyan MP threatens that his group will enforce a bill in the Kenyan parliament and across East Africa to ensure that Machar’s group is not allowed to practice politics in any of East African states.

“We are interested in a very peaceful South Sudan; we are also interested in seeing that nobody of whatever persuasion is allowed carrying out violent or political struggle using any East African states. And we are prepared as parliament to take these matters forward by way of coming up with motion and even a bill that will address matters of this nature,” Kamani said.

“We want to say from what we have gathered we will of course have a very comprehensive press conference in Nairobi to issue and give our statement on what we have gotten from this place,” Kimani continued.

According to insiders, the MPs’ travel bills and accommodation will be settled by South Sudan Central Bank.

In addition, the politicians received a cheque of 10 million US dollar to ensure that Machar is banned, sanctioned and his officials are deported to Juba, South Sudan to answer for war crimes.

Despite attempts by Dr. Machar, who spoke to Deputy President, William Ruto, Kenya Attorney General and Foreign Affairs Minister to stop Gatdet’s deportation, Kenya submitted Machar’s Press Secretary to his opponents in Juba.

The decision to deport Gatdet was condemned by Amnesty International and the United Nations High Commission for Refugee in Kenya with proves that Dak was a refugee in Kenya but to no success.

The relations between the Opposition and Kenya deteriorated since July 2016.

Kenya has decided to withdraws its 1000 peacekeepers and permanently disengaged from South Sudan Peace Process; allegedly because their General, Lt. Gen. Kimani Ondieki was sacked by the UN Secretary General, Ban ki Moon.

Shame to the people of Southern Sudan. Its people have nothing to eat and they give 10 Million dollar to other people. God is not happy with its leaders of Jinub El-Sudan.
