I don’t think involvement of UPDF is a fair decision, how should such forces be part of the mission to the country that it has fought alongside with? Uganda was in direct combat with the rebel forces since inception of civil war in South Sudan.l strongly disagree with the move and consider it to weakness from IGAD.

I think uganda shouldn’t allowed, because it has been part of the that lead South Sudan to this level today.

I think this time they are not Kiir employees but UN ones

it would be a surprised if Uganda has a difference agenda rather then what IGAD has proposed because was himself advised Salva Kiir to accept the deployment otherwise it will complicated.

The important thing at the moment is to keep away SPLA of any shade from civilian population. SPLA only treats civilians of thier tribe fairly; the rest are considered “others” and dealt with harshly. The protection/intervention force is more than welcome.

indeed the will be the one taking care of protecting airport, guarding first vp Taban Deng and the president of the repblice KIIR Mayardit.A jobless Machar will move freely without even bodyguard since nothing targeted him any more.

UPDF are not to be deployed in the third force . IGAD can look for different countries supposed to be apart of region forces.
UPDF fought in many fronts with -IO therefore, SPLA-IO will ilthem enemy and SPLA-IG will consider them as friend.

This Country south Sudan will never well secured, and peaceful as long as Mr Kiir is still taking advises and country’s political directions from his friend Mr Kaguta of Uganda. This is another huge “mistake” by the IGAD Plus countries.

The Citizen of South Sudan need peace badly, but the president of South Sudan and his Jieng council of elders do not need peace and stability in the country. They are the one who blocking peace by putting un obstacles that even show to the entire world that they not for peace but looking after something invisible.

I personally don’t accept the involvement of UPDF in the regional force due for South Sudan because they will be part of Kiir’s forces. History is being repeated by this mistake by whoever have decided on inclusion of the UPDF.

What do you short sighted morons think of sudan, ethiopia and kenya. They are supporters of riek. I wouldn’t wish for any war, but let Spla forces prepare. Anyone that think of intalling mass murderer like riek should be put in check. Those 4000 should be half. Their responsibility should be based on protecting civilians and creating buffer zone between riek and kiir guards. Airport is sole property of south sudan and must be protected by spla and police. Anyone who do not like it should either be told to build their UN airport or fuck off. If Unite state think they care about the welfare of south sudanese, why didn’t they intervene in 21 years war of liberation which had killed over two million. Unite state is criminal organization like their death squad police. South sudan should bring russia and china on board. USA as no moral right to make sole decision about south sudan. We have seen how they have meddled in turkish affairs. Open your eyes south sudan. Our nation is independent of both kiir and riek.

It will be stupid to allow the opportunists UPDF to take part in brokering peace in south sudan. They hv already taken side against the rebels so there is no way someone who fought me can protect me. Machar shd remember the assasination of Laurent Kabila of DRC.
