April 22, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– At least 320 commandos of SPLA in Opposition are expected to arrive in Juba accompanying Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon today, April 23, 2016.

According to Amb. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of SPLM/SPLA in Opposition, the 320 soldiers will arrive in two groups accompanying the Chief of General Staff of SPLA-IO and the Former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar.

“The Chief of General Staff of SPLA (IO) 1st. Lt. General Simon Gatwech Dual and 125 other soldiers with their organic weapons are scheduled to arrive Juba at 10:00 AM April 23, 2016.” Lol said.

“The rest of the remaining 195 soldiers with their organic weapons will come after that.” Lol continued.

Dr. Riek is expected to arrive as scheduled by JMEC and members of the international community today at 1pm.

“The First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan H.E Dr Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon is scheduled to arrive Juba April 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM sharp.” He said.

The armed opposition calls on the citizens to come out to welcome Machar, who will be sworn in as the First Vice President upon his arrival.

“The peace loving people of South Sudan are asked to come out and welcome His Excellency Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon peacefully.” Lol said.

In what was seen as a delaying tactic, South Sudan government created several stumbling blocks in the last five days obstructing Machar’s arrival between April 18 to April 22nd.

Trying to maximize its advantage, Salva Kiir government demanded that Machar should return to the capital accompanied by less than 40 soldiers, a demand they later switched to limited number of weapons and thorough investigation of their returning rivals.

How months or years left for him to survive and leave our people in peace. I don’t like him at all.

Why Mr. Kiir fear to allow Our becoming President Dr Machar because he has demolished the feature of south Sudanese beyond repair by killing innocent citizens who should have been the one to develop the country and making the country a total failure by putting the innocent citizen to suffer because of his interest , he has put the dinka as the only South Sudanese by denying other tribes their rights as a result of his failure they are many rebels factions inside south Sudan , time will come for his downfall and the ding will face the consequences at the end , see the dinkas are the one taking refugees protection outside South Sudan because they already feared what their man is doing for the rest of South Sudanese by John

Poor Kato John,
Let me remind you that no tribe has the right to acquire presidency through rebellion.
Leadership is acquired through the Democratic means but did President Salva Kiir prevent anyone from forming a political party to run for presidency in this country?
Coming to your wishful thinking of defeating the Dinka,I want to assure you that even if you wage an armed conflict for one hundred years you will not be able shake the strength and unity of Dinka leave alone your wishful defeat of Jieng.
Jieng is the back borne of South Sudan if you still don’t know boy.
Dinka contributed millions of martyrs for the independence of this country than any other tribe. This is the reality you should honestly accept and reconcile with whether you like it or not.
Let me tell you we can’t be scared with empty threats b’se Dinka fought Khartoum regime with its sponsored various tribal militias in Southern Sudan but still failed miserable to win the war.
Do you think what will make different to boast of defeating Dinka without the backing of your former Master,Bashir?
The more you continue with rebellion, the more you are digging and widening your graveyard.

The first vice-president designated Dr.Riek Machar and his Chief of General staff are accompanied by 195 soldiers contrary to your article.
You people believe in the power of gun but in the real sense peaceful dialogue is the passport of resolving our difference at the moment.
And I strongly urge all of you to invest in peace in order to achieve our unity, reconciliation and healing. Jieng oyee! Naath oyee! Long live our unity!

Akot Mathiang, i agree with you generally that
nobody should acquire the power or keep the power by use of force.
The fact that General Kiir refused to follow the party procedures regarding succession and maintaining power is what brought this country to where it’s now, hopefully this peace agreement Will be implemented so the process of healing and reconciliation will start.
Long live south Sudan, and death to the enemies of peace and peaceful co-existence of our communities

Many tribes of the Sudan contributed in the war for the independence of South Sudan. But now the messy tribe think they were the only tribe in that war. It is such mentality like yours which will not bring peace, love and togetherness in that young nation. When are you guys going to be reasonable and accept the fact that there are many tribes in South Sudan?
