April 21, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- The politicians of armed opposition of SPLM/SPLA landed in Juba international airport on April 21, 2015 in what the public interpreted as signs of Machar’s return to Juba. In a statement released by SPLM/A-IO chairman of national committee for external affairs Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth said the total number of politicians of the SPLM/SPLA in Opposition that landed in Juba today is 252; all drawn from Upper Nile, Equatoria and Bahr el Ghazal Regions.

“The SPLM/SPLA (IO) would like to inform the world that we have, today April 21, 2016, transported to Juba from Gambella 252 Political Leaders from the three Greater regions of Equatoria, Upper Nile and Bar El Ghazal,” said Ezekiel Gatkuoth.

Chief of General Staff of SPLA-IO 1st. Lt. Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual, who plans to travel to Juba in advance to receive his chairman, stranded in Gambella international airport for the 4th day, awaiting the government to reverse its refusal of his trip. The leadership of the SPLMA-IO insists that Gen. Gatwech Dual must travel to Juba with his 265 armed soldiers with all their armament as indicated in the agreement.

“The Chief of General Staff of SPLA (IO) 1st. Lt. General Simon Gatwech Dual and his 265 soldiers are not transported to Juba today and are still stranded at the Gambella International Airport for four days now due to the Government of South Sudan not agreeing on the organic weapons to be taken to Juba by the Guards of the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan His Excellency Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon and the soldiers with the Chief of General Staff,” continued Gatkuoth.

While the SPLA-IO chief of staff 1st. Lt. Gen. Simon Gatwech is not cleared by Juba, SPLM/A-IO chairman of national committee for external affairs is confident that the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon is expected to be flown in Juba on April 23, 2016.

Yes, Dr. Machar can land in Juba only when his waeponds are with him, the whole is worring and asking questions about why the government is afraid of Dr. Machar’s weaponds while Dr. Machar is coming for peace.
