Feb 12, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– The President of the Republic of South Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit has given an ultimatum to his newly appointed First Vice President and the leader of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition Dr. Riek Machar Teny only seven (7) days to report to Juba to form the TGoNU as per requirement of the Agreement they both signed in August 2015.

In a Presidential Press Statement signed by Presidential Press Secretary Ateny Wek Ateny seen by Nyamilepedia, President Kiir says he has taken necessary steps to implement the Agreement and issues an order to the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan Dr. Machar to immediately report to Juba within 7 days to form the TGoNU.

“Having taken key steps towards the implementation of the Agreement, I now call upon Dr. Machar, who is also the First Vice President of the Republic to report to Juba immediately so that together we form the TGoNU within seven (70 days from today, Friday the 12th February, 2016,” reads the Presidential Statement.

Kiir also wants the SPLM-IO leadership to send him the names of the candidates that will fill up the Ministerial Portfolios allocated in the TGoNU that is yet to be formed, and further stating that all other issues pertaining to the Agreement would be dealt with in Juba within the provisions of the TGoNU.

Kiir used Presidential Decree number 60 to appoint Machar as the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan. The SPLM-IO leader is unable to be reached for comment whether he would comply with 7 days ultimatum.

People who are learning insults, this is not the right place for that.
Machar should now to the Country if he really cares about the lives of citizens. On the other hand, Kiir is not suppose to condition Mr. Machar by pointing a given period of time because by doing so, the newly appointed vp will feel pressured and hence the adjournment of his trip to the capital.

Lotara, you are the kind of people letting South Sudan to be governed on Lawlessness !. How do you expect Machar to go to Juba when Transitional arrangements such as Constitution, Withdrawal of troops 25 km out of Juba, deployment of Machar guards and Joint operative force in Juba. It does not make sense to TGoNU CPA2

While on the other hand, I thank you for saying Kirr is not suppose to condition the coming of Riak into Juba. It looks like he has another aim. A lot of issues are still pending that Kirr has to solve by himself first. If Kirr need peace, he should speed up the incorporation of the transitional Constitution, Troops out of Juba 25km etc.

Thanks

Please go back to peace agreement, read it again and come to open your big dirty by saying that the first VP position will go to Taban Deng. Do you think the galant IO are after positions?

idiot tolio, remember it was you who said you do not want to see Dr. Machar in Juba, think now, it is you again begging the wise leader to come to Juba. You are really a rat. I know that you are desperately crying for peace because the economy is down and no more dollars for you to loot. We will never allow you to loot again. you studid thief

You are absolutely right bro Lotara .It is not safe for Kiir in order to coerced his rival like that. Kiir must have to learned from his dictatorship against Dr.Machar who is always a victim of South Sudan. He has to watch his language in all his steps as a boss and keep his dignity.

Wow! South sudan is doomed. Gat machar should never set foot in Juba unless the following is done:
1. A new constitution is form that incorporated the compromise deal without the 28 problems
2. Troops withdrawn from Juba.
3. Joint forces in Juba for couple of weeks.
Without these in place, Gatmachar will find himself in a lot of trouble. You cannot form a governmnent wiithout a constitution. The current constitution recognize 28 problems as the jaang has institute it. My advise to Gatmachar is to be vigilant and to not succumb to IGAD pressure because they will not do anything when jaang government killed you or arrest you in Juba. What kind of problems can be solved in Juba if they were not solved in a neutral ground. Please IO don’t be stupid and sacrifice the noble cause of this struggle to hijack by international pressure. We all know our problem better than them and we all know Jaang better. Don’t repeat the tragic of Juba massacred when you were told to react when you were fire, but you were naive believing that Jaang won’t never do what they did. So now, please, DO NOT be fooled. Stand your ground, the whole country is behind you. Let the process as stipulated in the peace be follow to the letter.
