Sept 11, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The Chief of General Staff of SPLA, Gen. Paul Malong Awan, returns to Juba after four days visit to Kigali, Rwanda, amid intense battles among the SPLA rival forces in Upper Nile, Jonglei and Unity States.

Gen. Malong visited Rwanda on Monday and returns yesterday after touring Rwandan’s Military Academy, Gako in Bugesera District, where the Rwandan’s Defense minister James Kabarebe and the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Patrick Nyamvumba, made presentations on the vision and mission of their military academy.

The troubled South Sudanese delegation also toured defense institutions and installations, including Zigama CSS, Military Medical Insurance, Rwanda Military Hospital, and RDF Command and Staff College at Nyakinama.

According to members of the delegation, the mission seeks to enhance military corporation and support from the Rwanda Defense Forces.

As part of the tour, the South Sudanese generals who have been engaged in a deadly civil war for the past 21 months, visited Kigali Genocide Memorial Centers in Gisozi where they presented flowers and gifts in memory of the victims of 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, the second largest tribe in the country, which now controls powers.

The visit at the memorial site was aimed to help the generals learn more on how the Genocide was planned and executed in Rwanda, a tragedy that many South Sudanese and observers link to the door-to-door massacres of thousands of Nuer Ethnic group in South Sudan capital, Juba, in December 2013.

As prescribed in the AU reports and other reliable sources, Gen. Malong is implicated to have recruited and trained over 15, 000 tribal militia at the expense of president Salva Kiir, just a few months before the conflict broke out on December 15th.

The militia, which was funded and equipped by the president’s office, was rushed through a three-month training and graduated in September 2013 despite protests from the then Chief of Army, Gen. James Hoth Mai.

Many government officials, including the commander of presidential guards, Gen. Marial Chanoung, who is now sanctioned and travel banned by the United States, indirectly testified that the tribal militia of president Salva Kiir is responsible for the massacres and human right violations that instigated the current conflict.

Malong has now returned to the country but very little has materialized from the four days’ visit.

According to insiders, the visit has reached a military deal that will cost South Sudan roughly $ 550 million US Dollar.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, reveals that Gen. Malong has briefed President Salva Kiir yesterday evening and met Joseph Cleto Deng, the new managing director of Nile Petroleum Corporation (NilePet), a South Sudan’s state-owned oil company that has been accused of massive corruption and nepotism.

It’s yet to be confirmed when the deal will be finalized, however, observers claim that the latest development is a strategy to divert attention froom Uganda which has been the primary military aid for Salva Kiir’s regime.

As Malong was visiting Rwanda, Ugandan air-force was accused of raiding and bombarding rebel territories in Shilluck Kingdom after the rebels destroyed a military barge and captured military equipment and personnel on board.

South Sudan has signed military corporations with Uganda and Egypt, among other partners that are yet to be officially disclosed.

Chol, the world is well aware the rulling cowar tribe(Jaang) are gripped by fear of loosing power to the Nuers. With that in mind they did the uthinkable(the mass murder in Juba Dec/2013). When you are a coward subdued by fear of any sort you start behaving and think thoughts like the Germans against the Jewish. Check your shadow and if it looks nothing like a Nuer then you have nothing to fear but fear itself. God forbids it does like Nuer then you better run all the way to Uganda. lol Coward!

I think Malong now also learned that the second largest tribe in Rwanda who were GENOCIDE in the 9th also now controls powers in that country. Power is something that does not last forever, it diminishes with all its niceties. the current queen of England would understand what I am saying.

Doesn’t matter what ever happening in South Sudan Nuer has been nyageet and terrorist since day one, the solution of terrorising people in your own country is quilty till prove instance. If they claim Ethiopia as their country let them put their feet together. I hope Nuer and thier Riak Machar will lead that country and Our Dinka become nyageet (terrorist) see what will happen.
