September 10, 2015 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s SPLM/A-IO has on Thursday endorsed the IGAD mediated peace agreement giving a green light for full implementation of the Compromise Peace Agreement on resolution of the conflict in South Sudan.

In a Press Statement issued by the movement’s Information Committee Secretary, William Ezekiel and seen by Nyamilepedia reporters, the SPLM National Liberation Council has endorsed the IGAD-plus Compromise Peace Agreement in it’s ongoing conference in Pagak, South Sudan on Thursday.

In its fourth meeting held in Pagak, South Sudan, on Thursday September 10th, 2015, “Members of the National Liberation Council for the South Sudan Liberation Movement (SPLM) have unanimously ratified the IGAD-PLUS Agreement on the Resolution of Conflict in South Sudan.” reads the Press Statement.

Dr. Riek Machar Teny, the Chairman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) presided over the meeting.

The movement’s deputy Chairman, Cde. Alfred Lado Gore was also present. The meeting was attended by Chairpersons of the Commissions, Governors, Secretaries AND Ambassadors, besides over three hundreds (300) delegates in attendance.

The meeting was convened specifically to ratify the peace agreement. It’s believed the meeting will also discuss other aspects of the peace agreement including the permanent ceasefire, security workshop and will also mobilize support and backing from South Sudanese at home and abroad for the full implementation of the peace agreement.

The National Liberation Council meeting of the SPLM-IO has also unanimously elected it’s chairman and Commander in Chief Riek Machar for the position of the First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan.

According to the peace agreement, the armed opposition is to nominate one of it’s members for position of the First Vice President, While Salva Kiir is to keep his position as the President of the Republic, meanwhile Wani Igga would settle for position of the second Vice President, with the speaker of the Parliament to hail from the Equatoria region.

I don’t think Dr.Riek Machar is going to be put behind BARS for one hundred and ten years like Robert Allen Stanford, but i think Fifty years behind BARS may be good for Dr.Machar.

That Picture a lone was the one which made gen. Kiir to tide his tail between his legs and call for IGAD to sign the peace.
Now Kiir is done, he is already made ceremonial president but who will know this from Dinka since they thought having a name though no power is better. Catch horns of our cow (South Sudan) then we will milk it!

That is true Mr. GatNor……………and peacefully they will pave way for FEDERALISM, because they know that Dr. Riak already admired and favoured federal rule and any leader supporting this FEDERALISM definately win the coming election……………….I am afraid the jengelon Council of elders will tell Kiir to Accept federal system so that he wins.

But it is too late because the time has already given us full explanation that the jengelon love land grabbing and this is done by the support of any jenge leader.

My name is DINGINT NA TUGGÖ, and it means only time can explain. Right now the time is telling us that FEDERAL RULE is the suitabls system for the People of South Sudan because it has been the popular Call since 1947
