Official Invitation to the GUNANA Consultative Conference for the Sons and Daughters of Greater Upper Nile Region Globally

Screen Shot 2015-06-03 at 7.22.11 PMJune 3, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — As you may have heard already that the GUNANA Interim Coordination Team is tasked to organize the First Consultative Conference for the people of the Greater Upper Nile Region in the Diaspora under the theme: “Our Neighborhood, Our Future”

The Organizing Committee call on all South Sudanese citizens who call the said region home within the three states that makeup the region, namely, Unity, Upper Nile and Jonglei States for dialogue on the way forward on the following topics; Unity, Peace, Development and Social Integration in our neighborhood and the homeland, Republic of South Sudan.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to inform you that the 2015 GUNANA Diaspora Consultative Conference will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Des Moines, Iowa USA. Please SAVE the DATE.

The Organizing Committee cordially invites all members of the region throughout the world to this important gathering to dialogue and discuss the future of our neighborhood and our country, Republic of South Sudan. We strongly encourage members all over the world to join this important gathering for unity, peace and development in our respective places and most importantly in our motherland.

We kindly accept generous donation from all members and well wishers to make this conference possible. Please call us or check with your respective community chairpersons and also we are looking for volunteers to help organize this magnificent event.

I’m from Upper Nile Regional, but we have nothing in common with Nuer, only spear and gun would have a conference.
