May 09, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The leadership of South Sudan’s SPLM/SPLA [in Opposition] welcomes the call by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) to transfer the suffering populations (IDPs) from government controlled areas to rebels held territories in the country.

According to Nyarji Jermlili Roman, the deputy spokesperson in the office of Dr. Riek Machar Teny, the Opposition highly welcomes and appreciates the “bold step” that is being taken by the United Nations to reallocate the IDPs to their strongholds.

“We abundantly appreciate the move and regard this step as bold step in right direction and the beginning of understanding the South Sudan crisis by Secretary General of UN.” Nyarji said.

Speaking to Nyamilepedia Press, Nyarji reiterates that the IDPs have endured suffering and fear of unlawful extrajudicial execution from the government security forces in government controlled areas in Greater Upper Nile region since the beginning of the conflict.

“Since the beginning of the current South Sudan conflict, South Sudanese citizens from Nuer ethnicity are since then still hostage in UN camps across the country fearing unlawful extrajudicial Execution from the government security organs and had greatly lost confident and trust from the government of President Salva Kiir in Juba, Bor, Bentiu, Malakal and Wau”Nyarji said.

The opposition acknowledges the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon, believing that the IDPs would be able to resume their daily routines in rebels held areas without fear.

“Therefore the leadership of SPLM/SPLA under leadership of Dr.Riek Machar Teny has highly welcomed the bold step taken by Secretary of United Nations (UN) Amb. Ban Ki Moon to relocate Nuer IDPS from government control areas to SPLM/SPLA IO held territories so that they can follow and practice their routine daily life in their original areas without fear.”Said the deputy spokesman,

The Opposition further calls on all the citizens of South Sudan to seek refuge in liberated areas for better security and safety.

“In other hand, the leadership of SPLM/SPLA also call upon all people of South Sudan to come and/or go to all SPLM/SPLA IO liberated areas for full security and safety as it is best acknowledged that the government troops are not in position of protecting civilians and their properties rather than killing, looting and vandalizing them.” Nyarji said.

“Secretary Ban Ki Moon is very well convinced that SPLM/SPLA will provide the necessary security protection to the civilians based on his own assessment and that the current government in the country under Salva Kiir Mayardit is utterly illegitimate and it has limited capacity and means to protect all citizens of South Sudan.” the deputy spokesman continued.

Over the past few days, the Mission has spoken publicly about relocation of IDPs as heavy rains hit many parts of the country.

Speaking to “Eye” Radio, the Mission’s spokesperson, Ariane Quentier, stresses that relocation of IDPs from Malakal is a priority given that any outbreak of diseases can easily threaten many vulnerable lives.

“The condition is not health and if there is any outbreak of any disease it will spread throughout the side,” Ariane Quentier, the Mission’s spokesperson, told Eye Radio.

The capital of Upper Nile State, Malakal, which currently hosts about 21, 000 IDPs has witnessed constant disappearances of IDPS and UN employees, mostly from Nuer ethnic groups, within the last 17 months.

While some Nuer-UN staffs are pulled out directly from the camps, others were kidnapped at the airport while boarding flights to other parts of the country. Tens others were indiscriminately killed in crossfire as Malakal exchanges hands several times.

Similar killing were reported last year in Mapel of Warrap state, the home town of President Salva Kiir.

Hundreds others were slain in Jonglei state capital, Bor, in which two UN peacekeepers were killed along with many IDPs, mostly children and women, by government allied troops.

South Sudan’s political conflict broke out in December 2013 after the former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar, and his colleagues failed to attend the second day of National Liberation Council meeting at Nyakuron Centre, Juba.

With more than 50 thousands killed, two millions others have been displaced to UN Camps in the country and other parts of the region.

Stupids idea. That is not impossible because it is very clear that Riek Machar is using them for his political games. Those people at UNMISS should have left those camps many months ago and settle in peace anywhere in South.

The government is refusing the relocation of the displaced or the UN-Camps. I wonder why would the government refused such a move. Could it be because the government will be denied being close proximity concentration camps it has created? Is it possible that the government can no longer pick and chose who they wish to make disappear at will once the camps are relocated? Is it possible that the government can no longer use the Camps to frustrate the works of the UN’s Humanitarian Agencies and use the displaced as ponds and human shields in any event? is it possible that the government’s evil plans will be exposed even more when these displaced relocate to a safer, more bearable location where living conditions improves and freedom of movement is guaranteed? Is the government embarrassed that they have failed to protect the majority of the ethnic displaced and rather resort to accusing tactics that they are undermined by the UN? There are many questions that the government need to be answerable to. The opposition held and liberated areas are more safer for many people

(64+ ethnic tribes to be exact – and I want you to recalled the UN plane that landed in government’s held territory in Jonglei where several Jaang ethnic UN workers were delivered back to the government safely with the minister from the statistic department and election census )

even though the constitution of South Sudan does not hold the Opposition responsible to protect these citizens of South Sudan. SPLM/A-In Opposition have the moral obligation that they have realized to answer the called and to do so as the main group or leaders of this last phase of the liberation and must do so in whole without discrimination. Something the so called legitimate government and its officials knows very little about. Those officials should read the damned constitution again.

UN can only relocate them to either Uganda or Kenya as refugees and NOT within South Sudan, if the UN did then UN is supporting Rebellion in South Sudan. How comes they consider rebels territories which can any time be taken by Government more safer than Government controlled areas, please Government, take all these three locations UN is talking about so that we see where UN will take them, UN is fueling the current tribal wars in South Sudan by favouring Riek’s tribemates at the expense of the rest, Riek murdered Civilians in Bor, Akobo including UN peacekeepers, Malakal and Bentiu and UN is not talking about it,Why???

They talked of relocating the IDPS to the three locations of Akobo, Pagak and Leer which are target for Government, the three locations will soon fall under Government control then we see where UN will take them, may be to New York.

UN is fueling this conflict by taking serious what ever the IDP tells them, not knowing the IDPS are all supporters of Riek Machar. UN will soon fall Victim of the current South Sudan conflict if they don’t analysis things first before taking action.

Riek Kong,

Stop using Nuer name, I know from your writings as one of those in SSN. Concerning the article, well it will happen and you won’t prevent it. The people under POC are Nuer therefore their safety is not guarantee in government held areas. The best the UN can do is to relocate them to rebel held areas..keep crying till no more tears to shed ya loser.

I told AGUMUT a long time ago that their puppet Nuer-Sellouts are better than him in propagating lies and his dump *ss took me literally and now a bunch of Nuer names are popping up with the same tone of speech deformity as AGUMUT. One thing I know for sure is that those Nuers who chose to denied the tribal dimension this conflict has taken are either quite or condemn the conflict without making Nuers(the victims) their main target of attack. The rest are bribed hooligans who rather detract from the truth of the matter as long as their pockets are fill with their own state money as a handout from this ethnic regime. I have more respect for those who take their bribes and turn around immediately to tell these Juba thugs where to go. The few Nuers are stupid enough to let Juba thugs bribe them with their own state money that would have gone into building their state economy, roads, hospitals, schools, private sectors, farming etc. General Johnson Olony had the right idea. Only a fool would try bribing a person with their own money. What I mean is if you bribe me using my own money and I tell you, okay very well, now I have the money which in legal sense was not rightfully yours but actually mine and so the good news is I’m keeping it to myself and whoever I feel has money being withheld by you the so called government. ..The bad news is you have a very limited time to go and steal more where this money come from. Therefore I suggest you continue doing what you were doing because this money is mine now thank God it has made it into my safe keeping. What would the government thugs do? Terrorized me more? Well they were going to anyhow. They might as well do so while I am already in possession of the little I have. This bribing scheme would stop so fast.

For sure UN they have right to relocate IDP because of some difficultiy with in camps as they experienced about the last years many IDP have been disssappeared from poc sites also their officers lost their life because of IDP to bring this plans as proposal is some things which will make sense to every one who know the goodness of civilians because with out them event the government of this newest young nation could not be in its own freedom as we have been seperated from North Sudan

Primitive Kiir and his partner in crime Yoweri Museveni will not manage fighting two wars at one time, they are digging their own graves..

Both of them can not fight the United Nations (UN) lead by Secretary General Ban Ki Moon who know them inside out and he have make up his mind and he have all the reports on his table.
He know the daily activities of primitive dictators/criminals, kiir and museveni.

They are fooling themselves and the UN will wine.
The Nuer victims of Kiir and Museveni war will be re-allocated to their God given land as UN decided to provided them protection and that is not the end just watch-out fool.

Naath/Nuer are human being like any other human and they have right of protection.

HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL VICTIMS OF WARS AS IT HAPPENED DURING WWII AND OTHERS WARS.

Riek Machar was a part of SPLM because their secrets was the same. All of them had victimized all South Sudan including Dinka. They divorced or splits and reunited again and their relations continuous. It was a matter of empty pockets.
