April 12, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — It is not a surprise to characterize South sudan as failed State. The party of “Oyee” instituted by weak and visionless leaders that lead the state from enthusiasm of nation building to the nation collapse. Leaders of the SPLM collectively failed to govern the nation because of their attitudes of hatred mentality, internal violence, corruption, tribalism, and they can no longer deliver peace, unity, and positive political goods to the country and unity of the people of South Sudan. President Kiir as head of “Oyee” party run out of leadership styles and national responsibilities, principles, visions of the SPLM to govern the nation and lose legitimacy to rule the country since he use the behaviours of revenge attitude to target Nuer and massacred civilians, children and women voted for him.

The nature of the nation institution become illegitimate, fragmented, dysfunction in the eyes and in the hearts of the citizens of South Sudan. President Kiir is controlling the nation by emotion, revenge attitudes, anger and divisive language. Emotion is a characteristic of unintelligent leader, revenge attitudes is a principle of disunity, Angry behaviour is sign of weakness, divisive language is sign of immaturity and lack of communication methods to communicate the message to the people. I believe SPLM leaders have to be blame for tribalism, corruption, nation collapse and jeopardize the live of generation to come and founded the nation values with divisive policies and hatred that will not be easily terminate.

Kiir government is well known by tribalism promotion projects and corrupted the pride of the nationality and channel the national resources to sponsor hatred, division, killings, discrimination and established a one man rule institution system that become an obstacle to change into democratic process. Kiir government failed to deliver a desirable political transformation and failed to provide predictable, recognizable, systematized methods of adjudicating disputes within the party of “Oyee” and completely run out of political understanding to regulate both the the culture of the party and leadership structure.

Referendum was the hope and great expectations of the people of South Sudan across the nations and inspire them to come home to begin a new live and contribute on rebuilding the broken wall of our beloved country and create a better future for our children and generation to come but SPLM as visionless and hateful leaders turn upside down the hope of the people into nightmare of fear, depression, lamination and tear. Time has come for every woman and man of South Sudan to rethink and stop dividing themselves into tribal lines and join hands together to confront SPLM leaders under Kiir for their acts of evil, foolishness, greediness, jealousies and weakness to lead country into this senseless war. The SPLM party will never bring peace and unity of the people of South Sudan because they failed to translate the vision of taking development to the people and continue busy implementing the policies of divide and conquer.

The people of South sudan have the right to wage war against corrupted institution, wrong leaders and form a collective voice of change and advocate for the absence of positive political attitude that implies codes and procedures that together constitute enforceable rule of law, security of the citizens, independent judicial system, and the values that legitimize the government to run the public affairs without labeling other citizens as outsider.

South Sudanese were falsely expecting that after the independent South sudan will be a democratic country that enable citizen to participate freely, openly, and fully in politics and the political process which encompasses the essential freedoms of right to compete for any office without intimidation, fear and the right to support the national interest and regional political institutions. But all these freedoms was become a wishful thinking because Kiir government for ten years developed a master plan to destroy hope of the people and established a tribalism constitution which identified citizens by tribes instead of national identity.

No doubt South Sudan institution is completely broken and tribalism is become the only mechanism to grap the power. Qualification doesn’t work in Kiir government policies. To apply for a public jobs in South sudan you must make sure to mention your ethnic group on the top of your resum’e in order to get hired otherwise no one care of you being qualified. As result of Kiir failed institution many citizens from unrepresented tribes falsely changed their names into Deng, Gatkouth or Wani simply to get a job in South Sudan, your credential and qualification doesn’t value any more, they scrutinize you with so many intimidating questions. Where were you in the times of liberation? and who do you know in our government? What a nation is South Sudan? I come to understand that the rise of tribalism in broken Kiir government institution completely killed the pride of nationality and tribalism become the identity of the nation

The government of South Sudan is the enemy of peace and harmony live of diversity and systematically isolated the intellectual citizens that suppose to contribute highly in the development process of nation building. Those who think that kiir government is working for the benefit of all, I can prove them wrong because based on the government performance indicate that the SPLM system made to punish whoever dream to be something in South sudan and reward only the individual that called themselves a liberators though they have no clue about the process of nation building. what they know is just the claim of we are the liberators but they fail to translate liberation dreams and visions into action.

The citizens that are standing with Kiir in the name of false legitimacy they need to refresh their mind. They should know that the government of south Sudan failed to bring sixty four tribes together and aggressively silence whoever speaks about the truth and future of south sudan. We should not help Kiir and his failed SPLM elites to escape accountability and justice for destruction that they have brought into our country. We must stand together as people of South Sudan to confront the evil policies of Juba government of making us a hopeless people in the face of the world. Change happen when we stand together with the purpose of ending a dictatorial rule imposed on us.

I believe the rise of tribal council of elders in the broken institution system destroy the entire policies of the government and the live of the people of South sudan. Nation no longer govern by constitution of the country but by the influence of tribal council of elders and the whole citizens are left with the state of confusion and supporting the very government that systematically denying their right as citizens and subjecting the country into useless civil war.

Tribalism affected the whole government institutions such as education system, military institution, police institution, tribalism is a cancer that need to be uprooted and treated properly ,tribalism kills the desires and hope of South sudanese who have a capacity to transform south sudan into functional country.

Education institution in South sudan completely broken and produce only future tribal leaders because students have no longer taught about the importance of nationality. The government allow students to practice and establish tribal based organizations within the higher education institution namely colleges and universities. They grow up with the mentality of tribalism pride and it will be hard for the country to produce a convicted national leaders with clear understanding, dreams, visions and knowledge of building a strong undivided south Sudan.

The government of South sudan under Kiir leadership fail to nationalize education institution and jeopardize the next generation by institutionalizing the country education system into ethnic proudness. The practice of tribalism in universities symbolize failures of the nation policies to adapt the pride of nationalism and invest on future national leaders. I emphasize on the broken education system because education is a bridge that can carry us to greatness, role model for our nation and the responsibility of each one of us to protect the national interest than tribal interest.

Kiir is no longer a legitimate president, his hand is full of blood of innocent women and children of South Sudan. He (Kiir) run the country by emotion, revenge attitudes, divided policies and single out people with vision to make South Sudan as economic center as enemies. We the people of South Sudan should understand that SPLM is become a bloodshed party and never unified us no more. To bring unity among the people of South Sudan we must first join our hands to hang SPLM party on the wall of museums as future reference otherwise I may predict the difficult journey still ahead of us if SPLM party continue to be a ruling party.

SPLM is always a bloody party from its inception. Not only that it fails the entire people of South Sudan but also the efforts of International community exerted to bring peace to the newly established country. The wealthy nations have been pouring in their money to bring peace to people of South Sudan. After the signing of CPA, the same nations have continued to pour in development fund so as to bring people of South Sudan to the levels of nations both in the continent and in the entire nations under UN. All these have fallen into deep wells of SPLM greed. What then can we trust in anything called SPLM? Creating wealth out of people bloody? Damned Bloody SPLM!

You people are the most hypocrites of all people in the world. You damned the SPLM/A while at the same time you continue to call tribal armed rebellion the SPLM/A-IO! Which is which here fellows? Your Riek Machar was honestly asked before he was sacked to resign and formed his own party to challenge the SPLM and to avoid the infighting in the same party, he refused and opted to fight the SPLM within.

Who is revenging here? Riek Machar and his Nuer tribe men. The Nuers believed their tribe men were killed by the Dinkas in Juba and so they went and revenged their killings in Bor, Akoba, Bailiet, Malakal, Renk and Bentiu—–and now there is this clown who wrote this crappy article blaming Kiir of revenge and hatred.

Of course my own self is full of hatred towards Riek Machar and some other Nuer goons, but not towards the ordinary Nuer foot soldiers. And Riek Machar knows very well that he isn’t going to walk the streets of South Sudan again.

It is not a belief but a fact that Nuers were massacred by a private arm group of Jaang extremists disguised as presidential guards.

What is your idea of an ordinary Nuer anyways?

The thousands of massacred Nuers were not only ordinary but citizens of South Sudan. They were unarmed, many of them were students, women, children and senior citizens with no political affiliation to any of the political parties in the country nor were they a part of the group that called for SPLM reforms with that was responded with violent disagreement between the armed guards which eventually led to these guards exchanging fire. This planned massacre was later call to implementation by the office of the presidency during the dust to dawn curfew while the armed guards simultaneously massacres more than 20 thousands Nuers and consequently led to the civil war.

If you can not be truthful on the facts of their massacre then stop trying to impress what you perceived as ordinary Nuers foot soldiers because you will not find any that shares your view as long as it leads to distorting facts.

Kiir feeds the country and the world with divisive speeches encouraging ethnic hatred. The massacres and the door to door ethnic killings is by legal definition hate crimes.

Mr, GatNor,

To be honest with you uncle GatNor, many of your Nuer kin and kith do not know exactly how to handle the truth and how to fight the system. You did attempt a coup, you know it and don’t want to man-up take the responsibility of it. The fight broke out in the two army barracks on the night of the 15/12/2013 and when the Nuers who attempted the coup were pushed out of the two barracks and some of them wanted to blend-in into the suburbs, they were never let go scot free and those were mostly the Nuers that were killed in Juba, the following morning of the 16/12/2013

And you know why—-in any bloody coup, people die and that is why people with brains always think twice before they try to grab power by the way of force. In a bloodless coup though, people don’t die and that is why it is called a bloodless coup. See the different uncle!

Do you people know how many other South Sudanese soldiers and civilians were killed in Juba apart from Nuers? Yes, the Nuers bore the biggest brunt because they were the master minders of the failed coup. And yes, some lowly individuals in the army later went too far and took their rages against some other Nuers who didn’t have anything to do with the attempted coup in the two barracks, but just because some of their colleagues were killed by the escaping Nuers from the barracks—and that was unprofessional though.

Many Nuers believed the fallacy that there was no coup and that the international community didn’t even recognised it that there was an attempted coup in Juba and that even Museveni refuted the claimed that there was an attempted coup. What the pieces of bull-craps! Do those so-called international community resides in the South Sudanese army barracks? Besides, the Nuers rely on the Sudan tribune, the biggest online tabloid that feed the gullible South Sudanese public with outrageous lies.

By the way, the then US ambassador, Susan Page and the then UNIMISS head, Miss Hilde Johnson, were parts of the whole game that transpired on that very night of the 15/12/2013 and the reason as l said early, they were not in the South Sudanese army barracks and they were parts of the plot, hence they were never ever going to admit that there was a coup. Hilde Johnson didn’t even admit any wrong doing when her UN was caught in Rumbek ferrying weapons to Riek Machar’s rebels in Bentiu.

Okay leave that alone and look at these: Why did Riek Machar, his wife,Taban Deng Gai and some other Riek Machar’s inner circles rushed out of Juba right after they heard the battle in the army barracks? Again, If Riek Machar thought that his own life might be in danger, then why didn’t he just go any foreign embassy of his choosing in Juba and called for calm the following morning, the 16/12/2013 if at all, he wasn’t behind the attempted coup?

If Riek Machar did exercised his leadership and did just that, then the causalities would have been contained in the two army barracks and probably some few civilians that were caught up in cross-fires and all these messes would have been avoided. And Salva Kiir would have seen the outrage from the South Sudanese people, if he was found to have been the one who cooked-up the attempted coup purposely to purge his opponents and he might have been out of power by now.

But our Riek Machar of old and his gangs knew very well what they are not telling the ordinary Nuer community—Riek Machar and his gangs plotted the coup and they thought they were too smart enough to get away with it again time around, good luck to them though, but l doubt it—because they are in a deep sh!t.

Why did Alfred Lado Gore, from central Equatoria rushed out of Juba with Riek Machar and his gangs on that night of the 15/12.2013? Who was after *Alfred Lado Gore, in case Riek Machar and his Nuer tribe men were to be arrested or were to be assassinated, if Alfred Lado Gore was not part of the attempted coup?

Further more, the Nuers claimed that they were targeted by the president Kiir’s body guards and that those president Kiir’s body guards hailed from his home state of Warrap. Then why did the Nuers went and started their revenge killings in Bor, Akoba, Nasir, Bailiet, Malakal, Bentiu and even in the oil fields?

Why didn’t the Nuers went and started their revenge killings in president Kiir’s home state of Warrap? Riek Machar went on to deny that there was no attempted coup, while at the same time owned-up an open armed rebellion! Who does Riek Machar think he is going to fool in South Sudan this time?

Any how, my Nuer cousins, it is time to grow up. Because many South Sudanese people are not going to treat you with the kids’ gloves like during the war with the Arab North Sudan.

ghol chot,

Very well then, I wont bored you with a long respond before we tussle over the coup narrative that was not bought in the court of law and certainly I don’t buy it either. However, I have a few questions for you before we go any further in what could possibly end up as pointless interaction.

South Sudan’s high court have dismissed the case of the claimed spoiled coup due insufficient evidences against the accused and the world is aware of this fact as you continue to unlawfully undermined the ruling.

My questions to you are as follow:

1) – Do you not agree with the court’s ruling. Assume you are not have you disputed the ruling by filing legal claim against the court presenting evidences against the ruling in which you seemed not satisfy so as to facilitate a retrial? If you have not done so as an individual or as a group in of citizen which you have the right to do so, then why not?

In your attempt to justify the actions of those involved you said..And I quote,

“And yes, some lowly individuals in the army later went too far and took their rages against some other Nuers who didn’t have anything to do with the attempted coup in the two barracks, but just because some of their colleagues were killed by the escaping Nuers from the barracks—and that was unprofessional though.” end of quote

2) – The prosecutor has only 11 witnesses on the stand during the trail for the staged coup and more than 20 thousands in which you claimed attempted the coup all died except the 11

What evidence do you have that there were more than 20 thousands armed Nuers officers in the South Sudan Arm Force and or (SPLA) which consists then of women, children(Infants) and senior citizens.
You can get the record from the South Sudan’s national arm force archive by names, place of birth, division, infantry or even by ethnic origin. This should be easily access I am sure.

3) – This question relates to the second question #2 above

Why didn’t the government stop the massacres that went on for weeks on ends. The Nuer army officers that you claim to have orchestrated the coup there are no active duty officers out of the 20 thousands murdered and yet you claimed they tried to disarmed, run and hide as to blend in like the rest of civilians & not even one unarmed child which should be easily arrested was brought to court as a tangible evidence.

Please lets keep this convo sober, logical and mature and I am not your uncle or we would not be having this conversation.

ghol Chot,

If I may ask you what makes you hate Dr. Riek and some Nuers? Are Nuer not human like you? Will your hate to Nuer do you good? How about if you try to understand why you hate them in the first place and what can be done to resolve the problem instead of hating them.

Look at you ! your outside the country and you just wake up at the time you want then start writing nonsenses, for sure you do not follow event from Raik being A vice president and at the same time would like grave leadership by power, you will support and till the end of !!!!! thinks about a good leader than Riak Macher who always misleading to crisis every time.

Manut, Atem,

The first leader would have come from the Nuers White Army who first responded to the rescue of thousands of their ethnic Nuers who were being massacred. There that tell you it is not a leadership war

Technically the second leader of rebellion would have been Peter Gatdet if he wanted to declare himself then to be because he was the first hero amongst the targeted ethnic army generals of the people of South Sudan who were being massacred. Again, it is not a leadership war.

Machar was endorsed to lead the resistance weeks or months later and after the many defected mainly from Nuers decided they must reorganized and fight back but not for leadership of any of the Nuers as an ethnic group but for a system change due to dictatorship tendencies of Salva and his gang buddies. Soon after many other ethnics from high ranking profile within the government defected to further solidify and support the moment for change with each one pledging an allegiance to the resistance and recognizing Machar as the leader for change that is unanimously endorsed to bring in democratic changes. Nothing as an allegiance to the Nuer or Machar as a person now you understand I hope.

There is only one group in the area of Equatoria that I believe did not exactly Joined but on record acknowledging the resistance and its leadership as legitimate with a due cause for change as much as they are and offered their cooperation and memorandum of understanding as comrades in an armed struggle with shared basic fundamental goals and that is to rescue the people of South Sudan from tyranny.

Manut Atem,

Please try to understand what Dr. Riek has done in South Sudan. Do not listen to politicians and you agree with them. Dr. Riek Machar learned that in in 1947 South Sudanese leaders stood up to fight for Self-determination and Dr. Riek Machar devoted his life fighting for self-determination.

When he and others disagreed with Dr. John Garang because John was fighting for united Sudan, but Dr. Riek Machar wanted to SPLM/A to fight for self-determination. Why don’t appreciate self-determination which brought us Independence of South Sudan?
