Armed Lou Nuer men in Likwangale listen to South Sudan’s Vice-President Riek Machar – 28 December 2011

Jan, 30/2015(Nyamilepedia)—-Multiple sources have reported the unusual movement of SPLA-Juba forces under Gen. Malual Ayom Dor the commander of Division 8th Jonglei State’s Government soldiers toward Lou Nuer Land.

Just recently, Machar signed an agreement with Kiir in Arusha, Tanzania where they agreed to cease hostilities and mark the beginning of SPLM’s reunification and reconciliation process.

Few days later, Dr. Machar brief his supporters and told them in Kenya’s Safari Park Hotel that Salva Kiir is no longer fit to lead South Sudan in to a better nation we all want.

Trouble by Dr.Machar’s remarks, Kiir last week ordered his military generals to prepare for the full scale war against the SPLA-IO.

SPLM/A military spokesman Brig Lul Koang on Thursday post in his timeline on Facebook page that SPLA “has completed amassing troops, assembling equipment and battle tanks in Gadiang and Poktap with immediate intention of launching coordinated attacks on Greater Lou-Nuer counties in multi-fronts.”

He added: “The Enemy’s high command meetings aimed at fine tuning operational plans has been held in Gadiang and Poktap. Finalized Operational Plans indicated loyalist forces will advance on Lou-Nuer areas on three axis:
Ayod- Pathai axis,
Poktap-Pajut axis,
Gadiang-Pamai and Wei-kol axis.” Respectively.

He further said the looming offensives on Lou-Nuer is led by Lt. Gen. Malual Ayom Dor, Deputy Chief of General Staff for Administration deputized by Maj. Gen. Malual Majok, Commander of Mechanized Division.

Koang warned that, “Our resistance forces under overall command of Maj. Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual, Chief of General Staff and Maj. Gen. Dor Manjur, Commander of 8th Division are well prepared to face the government forces before invading an inch of the territories under our control.”

The rebel spokesperson emphasized that, “Any attempts aiming at invading our areas will meet strong resistance that might trigger a chain of catastrophic events with disastrous outcomes. There is possibility that Lou-Nuer land would be the largest mass grave for SPLA soldiers that will accept to go on this suicidal mission.”

As south Sudanese leaders are tirelessly searching for peace, President Salva Kiir Mayardit is busy planning to invade more territories.

Moreover, the regional leaders are meeting on the sidelines of the African Union Summit to facilitate a political settlement of grievances between Kiir and Machar and restore peace and stability to south Sudan.
