South Sudan Democratic Position Paper on the ongoing South Sudan Crisis

August 29, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — Thank you much for giving me this opportunity to have my say in this great august gathering in this great hall. I could not be more than grateful that I am here to present my say and the case of my people in what shall be known hereinafter as the 2013 Juba Genocide that targeted the Nuer nationality for extermination as a “final solution” in whole or in part. As the late Nelson Mandela taught us on his twenty-seven (27) years ordeal in prison in South Africa for social justice and peace for all South Africans, said, he that “Courageous people do not fear forgiving for the sake of peace”.

In the same vein, the Nuer nation and its courageous and resilient people are courageous people that do not fear forgiving for the sake of peace and social justice. Nevertheless, the Nuer nation shall and will overcome the perpetrated the 2013 Juba Genocide against its courageous and gallant people, but with a hefty price tag to be paid by those who committed it. The Nuer nation shall and will overcome this gravest and the greatest crimes against humanity as the people of South Africa have overcome Apartheid, as the Jews have overcome the gruesome extermination in Nazi Germany, as the Herero and Nama people in Namibia have overcome the Kaiser’s Lt.-General Lothar Van Trotha Genocide in 1904-1908 otherwise the first recorded genocide in the 20th century Africa, the Tutsi have overcome the 1994 Rwanda Genocide perpetrated against them by the renegades Hutus; the African-Americans have overcome over five hundreds (500) years of racial discrimination, segregation, slavery, social biases and prejudices in the United States of America.(…)→ continue reading
