June 10, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — The Ugandan dictator Yoweri Museveni has let a big secret slip out, and that is his plan to have the South Sudanese rebel chief assassinated like the late Dr. John Garang. Machar rejected the exact same approach made by Museveni when he invited Dr. Garang and it only ended in his death. So the rebel chief knew what he was in for if he had accepted Museveni’s invite to visit Kampala. In an interview conducted by the BBC in January this year, Machar declared that Meseveni wants him dead, so that there will be no interruptions for Juba’s regime to completely transition into dictatorship. With Machar as the only challenger to Kiir and Museveni’s objective of turning South Sudan into a dictatorship, he is more determined to not let it be a smoothly conducted process for Kiir to go from a democratically elected leader into an ethnic cleanser, and then eventually into a dictator. Dr. Machar is prepared to die for the complete freedom of South Sudanese.

What would IGAD do if Machar assassination by Museveni succeeded?

If Machar was to be assassinated today, it is not known what the east African bloc IGAD would do as an organisation which aims to maintain peace within the region, but I know individual states like Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan who have formed solid relations with Machar since the conflict erupted would certainly see it as a time of finally bringing down the autocratic regime of Yoweri Museveni and also launch the rescue mission to save South Sudanese form falling under dictatorship. Salva Kiir as the democratically elected president, has already given us a glimpse of what life for the Nuer would be like under his dictatorship, I’m sure the events of the Juba massacre would only take place at a much larger scale, a scale anyone can never imagine of, and this is a thought I share with many people. If Machar did not challenge Kiir in his quest for dictatorship, the only conclusion will be that the Nuer and all other tribes would be completely wiped out from the face of this earth. This will only create a system of governance that is dominated by one tribe only, and it was Kiir’s objective to do so.

Who would be the next target for Museveni?

If you are not aware, Museveni has already put a team of assassins in place and it is just a matter of time before Salva Kiir presses the red button and gives them the go ahead signal. This will be a catastrophe for South Sudan as a nation. The lives of prominent South Sudanese leaders in opposition are at risk, especially Dr. Machar as the most valuable asset in this conflict, “The overall government’s plan is to eliminate top rebel political and military leadership.” The whole leadership of the SPLM/A in Opposition is now the target of Museveni and Kiir, and are very high up on the their assassins list.

So comrades if you can get this message to the leaders of our freedom fighter, and warn them that they must take extra care now. And tell them to immediately change their plans of travel outside of the country. So I am now asking you to play your part as a citizen who wants to see true government in South Sudan.
