THE NUER COMMUNITY IN EGYPT CONDEMNS THE COWARDICE KILLING OF 145 & THE WOUNDED OF 273 NUER CIVILIANS AT UNMISS BASE IN BOR.
Statement No. 02
April 27, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — While still in deep sorrow and painful mourning of historical massacre of Nuer civilians killed in South Sudan’s capital Juba in December 15 2013, another Kiir’s militias by the name “Bor youth” attack the Nuer’s IDP’s (Internally displaced person ) located at Bor UNMISS base on April 17th 2014.
The Nuer community in Egypt condemns in the strongest term possible the severe killing of Nuer children, women & age by the cruel regime of Salva Kiir. This is a clear plan by the defaulted government to eliminate one ethnic community (NAATH) in South Sudan under helpless and silent watch of United Nation.
As a community we view this organized act as a fulfillment of what Mr. Michael Makuei Lueth, the Minister of information attempt to do in the early days of January 2014, when he tried to penetrate into the UNIMISS base claiming that the rebels were inside the base but was denied access by UN troops.
The NCAE urge the United Nation & the international community to review & reveal the accurate number of the dead instead of putting the dead rate at 48 according to SUDANTRIBUNE when the number is widely confirmed & believed to be 145. We, the Nuer community in Egypt are anxious on why the United Nation declined to acknowledge the exact number of the Nuer civilians who got killed in Bor UNMISS base?
We also condemned the Nuer army Generals, Ministers, and Governors who are still serving Salva Kiir’s government which kills their own people and praise him for his genocide against Nuers.
Finally, we are appealing to UN administration to relocate all the IDPs,’ particularly the Nuer to the neighboring countries such as Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya & others. We strong believe that Nuers are not consider as RSS-citizens anymore due to the fact that the government continues targeting the Nuers who don’t even have a clue on who Dr. Riek Machar is.
In conclusion, the NCAE demand justice for our decease and wounded victims or we will not rest until it is realizes.
